  Dr. Amarilys Rodriguez, D.M.D.
Dr. Rodriquez received her Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of the Sacred Heart, in Puerto Rico. She then attended the school of Dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine. In 2003 Dr. Rodriquez received her Advance Education in General Dentistry certificate at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.

After receiving her AEGD certificate, she worked as a General dentist at the Harvard Dental Center until 2006. She was also a full time faculty member in the Restorative department, where she provided supervision and guidance at the predoctoral level and to the GPR residents at the Harvard Dental Center.In 2008, Dr. Rodriquez obtained her specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received her Endodontics certificate.

 

 
  Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh, B.D.S., D.M.D.

Dr Abughazaleh received his Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan in 1992,and then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995, after which he received his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is certified by the American boards of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Dental Anesthesiology.

Upon completion of his training, he joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry as a full time Clinical Assistant Professor, with limited private practice. While at the University Dr. Abughazaleh worked closely with the department of Prosthodontics, and directed implant postgraduate courses and continuing education programs. He has also lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Abughazaleh is a fellow of the American association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Chicago Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is former president of the Illinois Society of Dental Anesthesiology. At the present time he is in private practice, and travels to provide volunteer surgical care.

 
  Dr. Alexander Katsnelson DMD, MS

Dr. Katsnelson received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Hebrew University in 2004. As well, he concurrently obtained a Master's Degree in Neurophysiology.

Dr. Katsnelson completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard University teaching hospital, where he served as chief resident.

Currently Dr. Katsnelson is a candidate of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Katsnelson has extensively published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and presented in national dental meetings.

 
  Dr. Jag Chawla, D.D.S., D.M.D.

Dr. Chawla graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1968. He completed specialty training at Loyola University School of Dentistry, 1981. Dr. Chawla holds a Masters Degree in Dentistry and a specialty certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Chawla has taught at various universities since 1971, University of Illinois, Chicago, 1988-1995, Loyola University, 1982-1989.

Dr. Chawla specializes in child and adult orthodontics, surgical orthodontics, TMJ pain and dysfunction. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Midwest Orthodontic Society, and the Illinois Society of Orthodontics.

 
  Dr. Nermeen M. Moussa B.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Moussa, citizen of Egypt, was born and raised in Kuwait. She attended Kuwait University where she received her Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Bachelor of Dental Medicine, from which she graduated in 2006 and was granted the Deans List Award for Outstanding Academic and Clinical Performance. She then completed a General Practice Residency with the Ministry of Health, Kuwait. She attended the Endodontics Fellowship Program at University of Florida, Gainesville in 2007.

Dr. Moussa completed her microsurgical Endodontic specialty training at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where she also earned her Masters degree in Oral Sciences. She taught as a Clinical Instructor during her residency and she is a co-author of several scientific publications. She plans to join the University of Illinois at Chicago as an Assistant Professor.

She was awarded AAE/ Dentsply Resident Award by the American Association of  Endodontists as well as First Place Post-Doctoral Clinical Science Young Investigator Award by the American Association for Dental research (Chicago Division) in 2010.In addition she also earned First Place Graduate Student/ Post Grad Clinical Fellow Clinical & Behavioral Research Award at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, 2010.  She was also granted the IADR/ Unilever Travel Award by the International Association for Dental Research in Brisbane, Australia, June 2006.

Dr. Moussa is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Edgar Coolidge Endodontic Study Club.

 
  Dr. Rauf Yousuf, D.M.D., M.S.D.

Dr. Yousuf is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1995. After completing a one-year hospital fellowship in General Dentistry at Illinois Masonic Hospital, he received his specialty training in Periodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He holds a Master's Degree in Oral Biology from Indiana University as well.

Dr. Yousuf has been a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Illinois of Chicago, College of Dentistry. He has also had a limited Private Practice affiliated with the University of Chicago. Dr. Yousuf specializes in all aspects of Periodontics including soft tissue grafting, bone grafting, implants, crown lengthening, and reconstructive periodontal surgery. Dr. Yousuf is a Member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the Midwest Society of Periodontist, the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.

 
  Dr. Sahar Alrayyes, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Sahar Alrayyes earned her bachelors' degree in Biology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is also a graduate of the Northwestern University Dental School, where she earned her Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery. She then completed a Pediatric Dentistry residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her education at the University of Illinois, Dr. Alrayyes was Chief Resident and the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentistry Student Representative. During her residency she also earned her Master's degree in Oral Science.

Currently she is a full time assistant professor and the Predoctoral Clinic Director at the University of Illinois, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, in addition to limited private practice. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric dentistry. She is also a member and a board director of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Alrayyes also travels to provide volunteer pediatric dental care to children in underprivileged countries, and has lectured nationally and internationally.
